When you register for the meeting (both main days 9-11 June as well as the student days 11-13 June), the registration fee includes the accommodation in Clarion Hotel Wisby, as well as the food. For the main scientific program the conference venue is located at the hotel. Clarion Hotel Wisby boasts a unique history and a fabulous atmosphere. Situated within the city wall of Visby, the hotel features 212 rooms, a banquet hall, pool, a restaurant and Gotland’s most passionate team! Please note that this is a cash-free hotel. Clarion Hotel Wisby is conveniently located in the old part of Visby, just a short walk from the marina. The city of Visby is a UNESCO World Heritage site, awarded one of the best preserved, amongst the medieval Hanseatic towns. Visby feels like a small town with all the main attractions within easy reach. Visby Airport is a 15-minute drive from the hotel, and the ferry terminal (Hamnterminalen) and Wisby Strand are both just a 10-minute walk from the hotel. Clarion Hotel Wisby boasts a spectacular atmosphere, where modern elements have been carefully intertwined with historical details. A medieval alley and pillars from the 13th century have been carefully restored and preserved for modern visitors to enjoy. Clarion Hotel Wisby opened its doors on 1 May 1991, but the premises have been used as a hotel since the mid-1800s.
